This annual IPSA event is in celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Students are given the task of creating a presentation in which they venerate the Prophet (PBUH), be it in the form of poetry, song, rap, etc. The talents that emerge from this platform are incredible! The event was coordinated by Shaykh Fakhruddin Owaisi, HOD of Islamic Studies and Humanities. The Honourable Shaykh Irfaan Abrahams, President of the MJC, addressed our blessed Shuyukh and students.
He advised that studies are infinite, there is no end to knowledge and seeking knowledge. The rendition of Mawlid Al Barzanji 3rd and 4th riwaayats, Ashrakal was led by Shaykh Safwaan Sasman and live streamed on IPSA’s Facebook page to much approval by the public. Various performances were uploaded to IPSA’s YouTube channel here.
